As an IT user support technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to users within these organizations. Responsibilities :

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals, ensuring proper functioning.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex issues for resolution.
  • Maintain documentation related to support activities, including ticket logs and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide up-to-date support.

Requirements : 

  • Proven experience as an IT user support technician or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • IT certification(s) such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent is preferred.
